Responsibilities

  Maintains and supports physical and virtual systems infrastructure for Everi gaming environments, including Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu), virtualization hosts, storage, remote access, availability, and security.
  Supports provisioning, configuration, patching, monitoring, and health maintenance for servers, virtual machines, appliances, and related infrastructure services.
  Assists with system modeling, analysis, lab validation, and testing to support new products and platform changes.
  Develops implementation tasks, test steps, runbooks, and technical documentation under guidance.
  Performs infrastructure troubleshooting to isolate common server, operating system, virtualization, storage, and connectivity issues.
  Uses PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, or similar tools to automate repeatable operational tasks.
  Supports upgrades to operating systems, hypervisors, system firmware, and core infrastructure components.
  Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  •  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or other technical field, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience in a related field required.
  • Technical certification in systems administration, virtualization, automation, security, Linux/Windows, or equivalent experience preferred. 
  • 0-2 years' experience in a systems architect, systems engineering, infrastructure, or related technical role; gaming industry experience preferred. 
  • Possesses introductory knowledge of relevant software, systems, virtualization, storage, automation, and network fundamentals. 
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Windows operating systems. 
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server 2016+, Active Directory/Group Policy, services, patching, logging, and basic hardening. 
  • Exposure to Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) administration and command-line troubleshooting. 
  • Exposure to virtualization platforms such as VMware, Proxmox, StorMagic, or equivalent, including basic virtual machine operations. 
  • Basic scripting experience with PowerShell and familiarity with Bash, Python, Ansible, or similar tools. 
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewall, and security concepts as they relate to systems connectivity. 
  • Demonstrated ability to use monitoring and troubleshooting tools to support system health and operational response workflows. 
  • Ability to document work, follow change procedures, and support repeatable implementation processes.

The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000 USD, based on a good-faith assessment at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary.
