Responsibilities

This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of automation and warehouse systems. It involves maintaining accurate item data, resolving related issues, and optimizing processes through analysis and troubleshooting. The position also acts as a key liaison between customers and internal/external teams, facilitating communication, analyzing system needs, and supporting workflow efficiency across WITRON’s environments.

Qualifications
  • Minimum High School Diploma (post-secondary education in a technical or data-related field is an asset)
Skills/Experience Required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with automated warehouse systems, or operational experience in a similar environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills required
  • Basic understanding of Cubi Scan and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, including scenario testing and impact analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Strong networking ability across internal teams, customer organizations, and external vendors
  • Highly adaptable with strong time management and multitasking capabilities
  • Technically proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS) and workflows
  • Ability to climb vertical ladders and work at heights up to 100 feet (30 meters) with training and PPE, such as fall protection harness
  • Ability to work in temperature conditions ranging from 55°F to -15°F (13°C to -26°C), (PPE provided)
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the maintenance and management of Master Data for all SKUs in a high-volume distribution center, including the final review and setup (when applicable) of new items
  • Monitor and analyze system reports to identify data inconsistencies, automation issues, and area for improvement; take corrective action as needed
  • Review daily reports to enhance Master Data quality by eliminating unnecessary user entries and address data integrity concerns
  • Collaborate with the customer’s Master Data team to identify improvement opportunities, while providing training and support as needed
  • Follow standard operation procedures and company policies and create standard operating procedures as required
  • Review daily automation operations for process compliance
  • Adjust machinery specifications and operational modes to optimize item handling and improve automation efficiency
  • Support performance tests to identify and address issues related to product, machine, maintenance, and IT systems
  • Support packaging tests for new vendor designs within the automation framework to ensure compatibility and performance
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with the operation and maintenance teams to streamline processes and enhance performance
  • Identify problematic products, report non-conformance and vendor packaging opportunities to the Operations and Packaging teams
  • Track and communicate updates on the equipment operator feedback report
  • Update open points list to ensure timely resolution and team alignment
  • Act as liaison between customers, helpdesk, internal teams (VPs, IT, compliance), and third-party vendors
  • Collaborate with WIOSS Onsite, project teams, and lifetime support to align system performance with expectations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across customer organizations
  • Manage customer change requests: review, prioritize, document, and coordinate testing and deployment
  • Analyze and optimize automated system processes; conduct testing and assess impacts of changes
  • Support project initiatives onsite and remotely; manage deliverables and troubleshoot challenges
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues; perform system checks and preventive maintenance
  • Assist with upgrades, workflow optimizations, and WMS integrations
  • Develop streamlined workflows and deliver end-user training on system functionalities
  • Provide insights and tools to maximize system capabilities
  • Maintain documentation of workflows, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Generate reports on system performance, issue resolution, and project updates
  • Track customer interactions and collaboration efforts to support continuous improvement
