This position executes AI related initiatives under the direction of the VP of Digital and Information Systems.QUALIFICATIONSEducation Required: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Preferred: MBA or PMP certificationExperienceRequired: Three or more years of project management experience, including team leadership.Preferred:Project management experience in healthcare IT.Experience supporting governance committees or formal review bodies.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesDemonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a complex organizational environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical topics for executive and clinical audiences.Exposure to AI or machine learning tools, vendor evaluation, or emerging technology assessment.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESEssentialProject DeliveryOwn project intake, prioritization, and portfolio reporting across all ISS functional areas. Own resource allocation and capacity planning across concurrent active projects. Partner with the Directors of Applications, Technical Services, Clinical Informatics, and Clinical Engineering to align project delivery with department priorities. Report portfolio health, risks, and delivery metrics to the VP of Digital and Information Systems on a regular cadence.AI EnablementConduct ongoing research on emerging AI tools and use cases relevant to healthcare operations. Lead vendor evaluation for proposed AI tools, including intake form review and initial risk and compliance screening. Support the AI Governance Committee with documentation, meeting preparation, and tracking of approved, pending, and declined initiatives.
