With our headquarters in Canada, and offices in the Netherlands, China, and Australia, we are constantly pushing the envelope related to self-unloading ships, stackers, stacker-reclaimers, shiploaders and conveyor systems.


Role & Responsibilities

As a Project Manager working out of our Vancouver office, you will manage a range of activities—including engineering & design logistics, budgets, schedules, procurement, installation, commissioning and warranty—to ensure smooth, seamless project execution.

Your strong attention to detail and expert organizational abilities will have a significant and visible effect on the success of projects. You will act as the primary point of contact, managing all communications between the client and the company, ensuring seamless and effective customer interactions. The ideal candidate will take full ownership and provide valuable leadership for every member of the project team.


Here are some of the things you’ll be working on

  • Lead the project team in understanding the scope of work and developing plans for the delivery of engineering, design, procurement, logistics, installation and commissioning.
  • Monitor and work within budget allotments.
  • Manage project execution to schedule, scope, cost, and quality requirements by liaising with and providing direction to other project team members.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports to senior management. Identify, manage, and report ongoing project risks and opportunities.
  • Manage all customer interactions, including, but not limited to, correspondence, design reviews, deliverables, invoicing, site support, overall scope, and progress reports.
  • Liaise with suppliers and clients, engaging in negotiations that prioritize project budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or University Degree in Engineering or other relevant field, or equivalent practical experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is a strong asset.
  • 8+ years’ industry experience, preferably in the fields of bulk materials handling, engineering, or a similar industry.
  • Experience managing medium to large project budgets and negotiating supplier contracts.
  • Expertise in common Project Management software and applications, including budgeting, scheduling, etc.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
