Job Description:
Role Overview
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Systems & Process Excellence is responsible for leading the systems, process, governance, and continuous improvement function across the global supply chain organization. This role serves as the operational backbone for Supply Chain, ensuring planning, procurement, scheduling, inventory, and fulfillment teams operate through standardized, scalable, and data-driven processes enabled by best-in-class ERP and planning systems.
The position will own supply chain business processes, ERP governance, master data integrity, reporting and analytics, KPI architecture, process compliance, and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate combines deep supply chain expertise with strong systems and business process leadership, driving operational excellence across a rapidly growing global BESS organization.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Systems Leadership
  • Lead the Supply Chain Systems & Process Excellence team supporting Procurement Operations, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Order Fulfillment.
  • Serve as the primary business owner for supply chain processes within SAP and related planning systems.
  • Define and maintain the supply chain systems roadmap in alignment with business growth objectives.
  • Partner with IT, Manufacturing, Finance, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure enterprise process integration.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for supply chain system and process issues.

Process Excellence & Governance
  • Establish, document, and govern end-to-end supply chain business processes.
  • Develop and maintain standard work, process maps, RACI structures, and operating procedures across all supply chain functions.
  • Drive process standardization across regions, manufacturing sites, and contract manufacturing partners.
  • Lead process audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

ERP & Digital Transformation
  • Own supply chain business requirements for SAP S/4HANA and supporting planning systems.
  • Drive ERP process optimization, automation, and workflow improvements.
  • Lead implementation and enhancement projects supporting planning, procurement, inventory, scheduling, and logistics functions.
  • Ensure transactional discipline and data consistency across supply chain processes.
  • Evaluate and deploy new digital capabilities that improve supply chain visibility, efficiency, and decision-making.

Master Data Management
  • Establish governance for supply chain master data, including:
    • Material masters
    • Bills of Material (BOMs)
    • Routings
    • Planning parameters
    • Lead times
    • Supplier master data
    • Inventory attributes
  • Drive data quality initiatives and corrective action plans.
  • Develop controls to ensure master data accuracy and ongoing maintenance.

Reporting, Analytics & KPI Management
  • Own the supply chain performance management framework.
  • Develop executive dashboards and operational reporting utilizing SAP, Power BI, and related platforms.
  • Define KPI standards, calculation methodologies, targets, and reporting cadence.
  • Deliver actionable insights supporting operational and executive decision-making.
  • Improve organizational visibility to demand, supply, inventory, customer delivery performance, and supplier execution.

Continuous Improvement
  • Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement initiatives across supply chain functions.
  • Drive automation opportunities that reduce manual effort and transactional complexity.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action programs for systemic performance issues.
  • Establish a culture of process discipline, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

BESS Supply Chain Enablement
  • Support the development of scalable systems and processes for global Battery Energy Storage System operations.
  • Enable effective planning and execution across battery systems, electrical equipment, thermal management systems, enclosures, and balance-of-system components.
  • Support new product introductions, new manufacturing locations, contract manufacturer onboarding, and business expansion initiatives.
  • Ensure systems and processes can support rapid growth while maintaining control and visibility.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in supply chain systems, business process management, supply chain operations, ERP governance, or process excellence.
  • Strong experience with SAP, SAP S/4HANA, or equivalent ERP systems.
  • Experience supporting planning, procurement, inventory, scheduling, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
  • Demonstrated success leading process improvement and system implementation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts including MRP, inventory management, forecasting, master scheduling, and fulfillment.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and business transformations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), renewable energy, industrial manufacturing, electronics, automotive, or engineered products industries.
  • Experience with Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, or similar analytics platforms.
  • APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP), Lean Six Sigma certification, or PMP certification.
  • Experience with supply chain control towers, advanced planning systems, or digital transformation programs.
  • Experience supporting global operations and multi-region supply chain organizations.
