Job description

Duties May Include:

· Assist the MC&G PEO Engineering Management staff and Program Managers as a subject matter expert on system transition & integration.

· Manage the overall MC&G Mission Domain system transition process across the compendium of MC&G Foundation GEOINT-related programs, project, pilots and initiatives.

· Manage/Plan system transitions between MC&G PEO and other organizations such as Research and NGA/SF.

· Coordinate system capability development between the MC&G PEO and other organizations to ensure alignment of planning and prevent duplication of capabilities.

· Coordinate with external entities to ensure MC&G Mission Domain system transitions are supported at the larger mission / enterprise level.

· Maintain awareness of external system transitions, and evaluate the impacts thereof to MC&G Mission Domain systems.

· Assist MC&G PEO Program Managers on individual program transitions as directed by the MC&G PEO Engineering Management staff.

· Manage the overall MC&G Mission Domain system integration process across the compendium of MC&G Mission Domain-related programs, projects, pilots and initiatives.

· Produce and manage such integration-related artifacts and specifications as required by the MC&G PEO Engineering Management staff.

· Identify and recommend new technology insertion to improve MC&G Mission Domain satisfaction and performance.

· Evaluate MC&G PEO engineering processes and procedures, and recommend opportunities for improvement.

· Brief internal and external to the MC&G PEO.

Examples of work tasks include:

· Coordinating MC&G Mission Domain system transitions with the other CIO-T IPOs to ensure mission continuity through system changeover.

· Assist PMs with onboarding new vendors, transitioning efforts from an incumbent to a new vendor, creating transition schedules, and closing out an effort.

· Produce and manage the MC&G Mission Domain Integrated Master Schedule.

· Maintain and update the status of individual MC&G Mission Domain system transitions.

· Advise on the integration specifications of the MC&G Mission Domain System Architecture views.

· Produce transition-related inputs to the MC&G Mission Domain Requirements Baseline.

· Produce and manage the MC&G Mission Domain System Dependency Matrix, documenting MC&G Mission Domain system integration points.

· Synchronize and manage the cadence of development across multiple MC&G Mission Domain system developments.

· Act as the overall MC&G PEO System Outage coordinator, and assess the potential impacts of proposed discrete events across the entirety of MC&G Mission Domain programs to missions and operations.

· Lead MC&G PEO coordination and production of multi-program Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

· Identify areas for MC&G Mission Domain growth and create strategic Product roadmaps to help drive the adoption of products, resolve potential gaps, drive cross-cutting integration and manage costs.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

· 2 years of experience working with the National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG) community and its functions, with tasks to include understanding management processes and communication across all levels of the organizational hierarchy.

· 2 years of experience transitioning complex IT systems from (A) a legacy contractor to a successor contractor, (B) from a legacy technical solution baseline to a new technical solution baseline, and (C) from one organization to another organization.

· 2 years of experience dealing with Systems Integration issues, complexities, and challenges and conducting System Architecture analysis for interface specifications, system dependencies, and projected system performance evaluations.

· 2 years of experience with Agile Systems Development, with emphasis on Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) processes.

Desired Qualifications:

· Program Management or Systems Engineering support experience with Research & Development programs.
