The Business Systems Developer designs, develops, customizes, and maintains applications within the organization's business systems, including the IFS Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. They will work closely with operations and leadership to translate operational needs into technical solutions, ensuring the business systems support efficient workflows, accurate data management, and integrations with other systems. The Business Systems Developer writes code, builds reports, configures pages and workflows, troubleshoots issues, and continuously enhances the system to meet evolving business demands. As the Business Systems Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in the daily management and continuous improvement of the company's IFS ERP System. This role is about rolling up your sleeves and driving execution. You'll be responsible for ensuring that the company's business systems drive efficiency, ensuring our workforce runs smoothly and evolves with the business.
Are You Looking to:
  • Collaborate with business analysts, functional teams, and end-users to gather requirements and design tailored IFS ERP solutions?
  • Develop, configure, and customize IFS ERP applications using IFS Developer tools (e.g., IFS Developer Studio, IFS Report Builder, PL/SQL)?
  • Customize and extend IFS modules across Supply Chain, Finance, Projects, Service, and Human Capital Management and Customer Relationship Management?
  • Write and optimize PL/SQL code, custom events, workflows, and business logic?

What You'll Need:
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 1+ years of programming and development experience within the IFS Cloud ERP system.
  • Proficiency with PL/SQL, IFS Developer Studio, and IFS Aurena development environment.
  • Hands-on experience with IFS integration frameworks such as REST APIs, Middleware, and Web Services or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in creating and maintaining Quick Reports and lobbies.
  • Strong understanding of ERP workflows and business processes, particularly in Supply Chain, Finance, or Field Services.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, data governance, and ERP system access controls preferred.
  • Experience in global or multi-site ERP environments and knowledge of Agile development methodologies is an advantage.
