Job Title: Mission System EngineerJob Category: EngineeringTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCIEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: NoneType of Travel: NoneAnticipated Posting End: 8/12/2027The Opportunity:As a motivated mission system engineer on this exciting program comprised of multiple agile software development teams, you will work together with mission end users, government stakeholders, and your program’s software engineers creating modern mission critical software applications.You will help coordinate exchanges amongst all parties to ensure the team builds the right product to make the users efficient and effective in the execution of their SIGINT mission management mission.You will find yourself challenged to discover the next user need and will eagerly work with each of your teammates (UX designers, developers, product managers) to craft elegant solutions to complex mission problems.Each day, you can expect to report a brief status at an agile “stand up” meeting, dig into the highest priority work to accomplish that day, research topics and document findings, create living documentation as needed, support to Technical Exchange Meetings, and assist with feature testing in the applications. You will support an Agile Software Team and work alongside the Software Team Lead to break down the assigned Epics and User Stories into actionable Jira tasks for the developers to code to. You will work with the UX Designer to ensure what is being developed meets design standards. You’ll bring automation ideas forward and explore new ways to automate systems and processes.
