Position Overview
ITSC is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide junior-level systems engineering support for Missile Warning (MW) system-level requirements development, hardware and software design, and verification and validation (V&V) activities. This role supports technical activities within FORGE Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and contributes to the horizontal integration of best engineering practices across the FORGE enterprise.
The Systems Engineer works closely with government SEIT teams and senior engineers to ensure consistent technical baselines and alignment across development, integration, test, and operational environments.
Impact of the Role
The Systems Engineer supports the technical integrity and consistency of Missile Warning systems by contributing to requirements, design, and verification activities. This role helps ensure engineering activities remain aligned across IPTs, reducing integration risk and supporting mission readiness.
Key Responsibilities
• Support MW system-level requirements development activities
• Assist with hardware and software design, integration, and V&V tasks
• Maintain awareness of technical activities across FORGE IPTs
• Support horizontal integration of engineering best practices across the FORGE enterprise
• Coordinate with government SEIT teams to support consistent technical baselines
• Participate in technical reviews, working groups, and engineering discussions
• Support documentation, analysis, and engineering assessments as required
