Role Overview:
As a Product Designer you will be working directly with the design lead across everything we build for the renter experiences, the property management experiences, and the internal tools behind them.
This is a hands-on role, where the Product Designer takes features from problem through design and into engineering's hands. The Product Designer owns their surfaces and have a real voice in how we solve problems in collaboration with their design lead, they will pressure-test ideas, and keep the quality bar high.
In this role there is autonomy, product complexity, and a design system that's still taking shape, so they won't just use the system, they will help build it.
The Product Designer role is dedicated to product. will be responsible for shaping flows, working through states and edge cases, tightening patterns, supporting handoff, and all the little decisions that make our products feel clear, cohesive, and unmistakably OneApp.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and ship your surfaces - take features from problem through UX, UI, handoff, QA and implementation support.
  • Design from the why - understand the goal, user need, and what needs to be true for experiences to work.
  • Bring a point of view - help shape the right solution, ask smart questions, and make the work better.
  • Build on the system - reach for existing patterns and components first, flag the gaps, and help grow a design system that's actively coming together.
  • Pressure-test ideas early - share work before it's polished, give useful feedback, and use design review to make the direction stronger.
  • Help raise the quality bar - spot inconsistencies, call out debt, suggest better patterns, and treat quality as an ongoing part of the work, not a final pass.

Qualifications & Criteria
  • 4+ years of product design experience working on digital products.
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong UX and UI craft, with experience designing clear flows, thoughtful interactions, and polished experiences that feel consistent from screen to screen.
  • Experience designing across responsive breakpoints and device contexts (mobile, tablet, and web).
  • A systems-minded approach - notice when a decision affects more than one screen, flow, or surface.
  • Strong Figma skills, including components, variants, prototyping, and working within an evolving design system.
  • Good product judgement.
  • A practical understanding of accessibility, responsive behavior, edge cases, and the constraints that show up once designs meet the real world.
  • Experience working and collaborating across department.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, and collaborate with a small team, a growing system, and the products we're building together.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A degree in design, visual communication, interaction design, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience designing complex flows, internal tools, marketplaces, SaaS products, fintech, proptech, housing, screening, underwriting, or other high-trust product experiences.
  • Experience designing across both customer-facing and internal/admin experiences, and B2B and B2C products.
  • Strong copy instincts.
  • Experience contributing to a design system, component library, or product pattern documentation.
  • Prior experience with AI tools.
