Hybrid Every Other Week onsite / 5 days in Smithfield, RI

Our client seeks a Senior Systems Analyst to join a Scrum team within the Workplace Investing Digital Platforms Technology organization. The role collaborates with product and engineering partners to define, build, test, and deliver features for digital experiences. The position includes mentoring other analysts, driving documentation quality, and promoting scalable, maintainable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $48.00 to $58.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Squad Lead, Scrum Master, Developers, QA, and Architects to define, build, test, and deliver digital features.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to systems analysts across the Digital Platforms Technology team.
  • Triage system defects across environments and support issue resolution.
  • Produce clear documentation including product guides, business process diagrams, and system workflows.
  • Ask exploratory questions to uncover hidden use cases and requirements.
  • Influence team members and external groups to drive alignment on solutions.
  • Apply long-term thinking to produce scalable and maintainable solutions.
Experience Requirements:
  • 5+ years of systems analysis experience; financial services experience is a plus.
  • Robust critical thinking, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Confidence communicating technical concepts to partners and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with documentation, business process diagrams, and workflows.
  • Experience with multiple backend databases such as SQL, Sybase, and Oracle.
  • Strong SQL and familiarity with database query tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Working understanding of QA automation.
  • Proactive, organized, and committed to quality deliverables.
Education Requirements:

BS/BA degree or equivalent experience preferred.
