L'etudiant(e) contribue a la coordination de diverses activites d'approvisionnement, incluant l'entree de donnees, le suivi des livraisons, l'analyse, les promotions et la production de rapports. L'etudiant(e) est egalement responsable de soutenir certains projets, notamment lies a l'optimisation des rapports, des indicateurs de performance et du systeme informatique. Il/elle est responsable de documenter certains processus et agit comme liaison entre les differentes fonctions, en particulier avec les analystes, les planificateurs, le groupe des promotions, l'equipe de gestion des stocks et les gestionnaires. Il/elle fournit un soutien aux differents gestionnaires du groupe d'approvisionnement au besoin.

Section A - Responsabilites specifiques

Voici certaines des responsabilites generalement associees au poste :

  • Soutient les activites de planification, l'analyse des recommandations de reapprovisionnement et les mises a jour de commandes.

  • Contribue a assurer la livraison ponctuelle des produits.

  • Fait le lien avec toutes les parties prenantes de la chaine d'approvisionnement pour assurer un flux de produits stable.

  • Effectue l'entree de donnees et aide a maintenir l'integrite des donnees de commande et d'inventaire.

  • Identifie les problemes lies aux parametres de planification et d'approvisionnement, les escalade et propose des solutions.

  • Aide a resoudre les problemes lies aux commandes ouvertes, aux produits endommages, a l'obsolescence, aux dates d'expiration et autres enjeux d'inventaire.

  • Partage l'information afin que tout le personnel concerne soit implique dans la resolution des problemes d'approvisionnement, evitant ainsi les ruptures de stock.

  • Maintient une connaissance suffisante de toutes les activites de planification et d'approvisionnement pour pouvoir aider l'equipe au besoin.

  • Participe a la production de rapports et a l'analyse de diverses donnees de livraison liees aux fournisseurs et aux niveaux de service aux clients.

  • Contribue au developpement des indicateurs de performance cles (KPI) et des tableaux de bord.

  • Documente les differents processus d'approvisionnement et de gestion des stocks.

  • Communique avec les fournisseurs pour effectuer le suivi de certaines commandes.

  • Soutient les gestionnaires au besoin et assume certaines taches lors de remplacements.

  • Competences en extraction de donnees (data mining).

  • Connaissances theoriques en logistique, approvisionnement, gestion des operations et planification de la demande.

The student helps coordinate various procurement activities, including data entry, delivery tracking, analysis, promotions and reporting. The student is also responsible for supporting certain projects, notably related to the optimization of reports, performance indices and the computer system. He/she is responsible for documenting certain processes and acts as a link between the various functions, in particular with analysts, planners, the promotions group, the inventory management group and managers. He/she provides support to the various managers in the procurement group as required.

SectionA - Specific responsibilities

The following are some of the specific responsibilities generally incumbent on the post holder:

  • Supports planning activities, analysis of replenishment recommendations and order updates.

  • Helps ensure on-time delivery of products.

  • Liaises with all supply chain stakeholders to ensure stable product flow.

  • Enters data and helps maintain the integrity of order and inventory data.

  • Identifies problems with planning and procurement parameters, escalates these problems and provides solutions.

  • Helps remedy problems related to open orders, damaged products, obsolescence, expiration dates and other inventory-related issues.

  • Shares information so that all concerned personnel are involved in resolving the supply problem, thus avoiding stock-out situations.

  • Ensures sufficient knowledge of all planning and procurement activities to be able to assist the team when necessary.

  • Helps roll reports and drive various analyses of delivery data related to suppliers and service levels with customers.

  • Helps develop key performance indicators and dashboards.

  • Documents the various procurement and inventory management processes.

  • Communicates with suppliers to follow up on certain orders.

  • Supports managers as needed and absorbs certain tasks when replacing vacancies.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential task satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required for this position.

  • Student enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, graduating or in 3rd year (operations management, logistic, engineering or business-related field) or pursuing a master's degree.

  • Analytical experience is essential.

  • Proven analytical problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access.

  • Data mining skills.

  • Theoretical knowledge of logistics, procurement, operations management and demand planning.

  • Organizational, process and team-oriented.

  • Ability to work well under pressure.

  • Good judgment in planning and sequencing various activities according to priority.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Bilingual in both French and English.

The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States.
