The Ask

This role requires a combination of demonstrated experience in supply chain management (SCM) business processes including electronic commerce, order management (OMS), warehouse management (WMS), transportation management (TMS) and electronic data interchange (EDI) using Dynamics 365 as well as being a functional lead on technology projects along with the aptitude, attitude, and energy to drive forward progress in an environment with many competing priorities.

Who You Are

You have been a key driver of successful ERP and supply chain projects with Dynamics 365 and ongoing operational support for Fulfillment and Logistics (F&L) business units. You have been responsible for working closely with both internal and external clients to translate business requirements into technical specifications, implement system configurations, facilitate user acceptance testing and coordinate production releases.

What You’ll Do

The senior business systems analyst will work with internal and external customers in defining functional requirements, implementing application configurations, and managing the testing of deliverables leveraging the Dynamics 365 business applications platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet with internal and external customers to provide thought leadership to enhance and automate business processes and document requirements and system designs
  • Work with users, customers and developers on solution designs for order management, inventory management, warehouse management, shipping and transportation management
  • Implement supply chain solutions to expand our service offerings with Fulfillment and Logistics (F&L) customers via standard and templatized interfaces of EDI and API as well as Marketplaces such as Amazon and Shopify; architected and robustly integrated with D365
  • Configure Dynamics 365 functionality to enable business requirements for process areas including e-commerce, sales and billing, procurement and sourcing, demand planning, item management, bill of materials (BOM), production control, inventory control, quality assurance, receive-putaway, pick-pack-ship, and freight/carrier load management
  • Support, monitor and troubleshot system integrations in the SCM ecosystem such as client portals, EDI, OMS, WMS, TMS, shipping systems, label printing and mobile devices
  • Gather and document requirements and visualize processes using workflow diagrams
  • Create end-user test scripts and facilitate user acceptance testing and obtain user sign-off
  • Develop cutover and contingency plans and manage execution of the go-live process
  • Adhere to change control processes to ensure SOX compliance and work with auditors as needed on audit requests such as providing documentation or system demonstrations of control configurations
What You Need
  • Bachelors degree, preferably in a business or technology discipline
  • 7+ years of total professional IT experience, preferably in business systems and analysis
  • 2+ years of ERP implementation and support experience with Dynamics 365
  • 1+ years working in a supply chain environment including e-commerce, order, warehouse or transportation management
  • Understands complex business requirements
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • Strong requirements gathering and gap analysis experience
  • Experience documenting business process flows
  • Able to see the big picture and drive down into details as required
  • Communicates verbal and non-verbal messages articulately and succinctly
  • Actively listens to messages being delivered by others
  • Skilled at small and large group facilitation
  • Remains calm under pressure and instills confidence across project teams
  • Manages conflict tactfully by bringing disagreements into the open and facilitating the team to consensus whenever possible
  • Knows when to escalate issues
  • Able to set priorities for self and team and multi-task across multiple concurrent high-priority assignments
