Job Description:

The System Administrator will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of our organization's computer systems, servers, and cloud infrastructure. You will install hardware and software, manage servers, and ensure the stability of the organization's IT environment. This role demands strong technical skills in Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, and technical documentation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • System Management: Maintain and manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Entra ID/AAD, and Group Policy. Ensure optimal performance and security.
  • M365 Administration: Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Intune, Teams, and SharePoint Online. Ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operation of the Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Virtualization: Proficiency with virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V or VMware).
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes, systems configurations, and network layouts.
  • Cloud Services: Provide support and maintenance for Azure services including Azure VMs, Azure Backup, Azure Files, Azure Monitor, Azure DNS, and other related infrastructure services.
  • RMM & Ticketing Systems: Utilize NinjaRMM and other ticketing systems to monitor, manage, and resolve IT issues efficiently.
  • Project Implementation: Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
  • Backup and Recovery: Manage backup solutions and ensure regular testing of data restore capabilities.
  • User Support: Provide technical support and training to staff on new technologies and IT solutions.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with IT security standards and best practices.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in system administration.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID/AAD, Group Policy, and M365.
    • Proficiency with virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V).
    • Familiarity with Azure services (Azure VMs, Azure Backup, Azure File, Azure Monitor, Azure DNS).
    • Knowledge of Alibaba Cloud is highly desirable.
    • Experience with NinjaRMM and ticketing systems.
  • Certifications (Preferred):

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $105,000 annually. In determining the rate of pay, Amphenol considers a variety of nondiscriminatory factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant industry experience, qualifications, skills, and education. It would be rare for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a given role. Base salary is one facet of Amphenol's total rewards package which includes participation in our comprehensive benefits program with medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, paid holidays, life insurance, short/long term disability, and membership in our Defined Contribution Pension Plan.
