Houston Physicians’ Hospital, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a dedicated Therapy Service Administration Manager to join our esteemed team. As a Therapy Service Administration Manager, you will play a vital role in upholding our core beliefs of value, integrity, continuity, accessibility, and community engagement. 

Therapy Service Administration Manager at Houston Physicians’ Hospital

Reporting to the Director of Therapy Services, the Therapy Service Administration Manager will oversee the daily operations of front office reception teams across multiple outpatient therapy clinic locations, as well as the insurance verification and authorization team. This role combines hands-on staff leadership with business analytics responsibility, generating insightful metric and financial reports to drive outpatient therapy services. The Therapy Service Administration Manager must possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage and train staff effectively across both clinical front-office and back-office administrative functions. This role is key to ensuring clinics provide exceptional patient service while maintaining efficient, compliant, and data-informed administrative operations.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field preferred.

·       Or minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical or physical therapy office setting.

·       Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in physical therapy or outpatient services, including supervision of teams across multiple sites.

·       Minimum of three years of insurance verification and authorization process experience required.

·       Strong analytical skills with experience in business analytics and reporting.

·       Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR), clinic management software, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools).

·       Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).

·       Frequent local travel required.
