Job Description
This role is a key driver for HR's configuration, maintenance, and support for our legacy HCM and advises on the broader HR technology stack and future HR technology roadmap. The Manager, HRIS leads a team of technologists and analysts responsible for deploying, implementing, and evolving modern digital tools, and enhancing capabilities using existing systems. This role contributes to the strategic roadmap for the digital HR experience by partnering with stakeholders across HR, IT, Finance, and Operations, and plays a critical role in planning and executing Domino's transition from the legacy HCM to a new HCM over the next 3-5 years.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Manage HRIS Team (40%)
  • Build and maintain a high-performing team focused on service and results
  • Establish goals aligned with HR and broader Domino's priorities and manage team performance
  • Enable professional development of HRIS team members
  • Lead career planning and succession planning for HRIS roles

System Administration (20%)
  • Maintain prioritization within HR for break/fix items and enhancements
  • Review and approve system administration changes made by the HRIS team
  • Support, configure, and test HR systems including PeopleSoft HR, Time & Labor, Payroll, Benefits, Employee Self Service, and Manager Self Service
  • Prioritize and drive development of and improvements to integrations between HCM and LMS, ATS, WFM, and other systems
  • Conduct root cause analysis of system issues and partner with IT for resolution
  • Own and guide release management of system changes and best practices to all departments
  • Provide customer support for system questions and issues
  • Manage daily configuration of the HCM environment

System Implementation (30%)
  • Partner with IT to plan and execute system changes, upgrades, and new implementations
  • Ensure a common method for requirements gathering across all HR systems
  • Serve as primary partner with IT for HR systems maintenance (excluding ATS, LMS, Performance, and WFM)
  • Own change control processes for modifications to the production environment
  • Approve user procedures and ensure help guides remain current
  • Partner with other HR personnel and business to ensure end users receive necessary training for new systems
  • Approve communications regarding HRIS system changes and enhancements
  • Conduct quality control for user acceptance testing
  • Monitor and ensure accuracy and integrity of interfaces across HR systems

System & Data Management Strategy Support (10%)
  • Ensure tools, systems, and processes maintain compliance with federal and local regulations governing personnel data
  • Set up recurring audits and controls to verify proper compliance system safeguards
  • Apply automation strategies to compliance functions leveraging ERP capabilities
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Maintain internal controls and adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring no significant deficiencies or material weaknesses (SOX)
  • Coordinate with Manager, HR Reporting and Analytics on strategy and execution of data governance, data accuracy/clean-up, and data provisioning to the HR Reporting technology stack

Qualifications
  • 7-10 years' experience with Enterprise HCM (Workday, UKG Pro HR, PeopleSoft). PeopleSoft experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency writing native SQL
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 7-10 years' experience in a Management Information Systems role with people leadership responsibilities
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business friendly language
  • Strong project management skills
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, functions, macros)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Project, Visio)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Located in, or ability to locate to, Ann Arbor, MI
  • Ability to work in-office Monday to Thursday (Friday hybrid)

ADDITIONAL NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience using Monday.com, ServiceNow, or Jira for project management, development workflow, and IT Service Management use-cases
  • Experience migrating from PeopleSoft to other HCM platforms
  • Knowledge of and experience supporting HCM connectivity to identity and access management solutions
  • Experience supporting Visier or other modern HR analytics solutions
