Position Overview

Synergy Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team focused on delivering exceptional early intervention services remotely. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the lives of young children with disabilities or developmental delays, empowering their families and promoting positive outcomes through tailored support and therapeutic strategies.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to fulfill your responsibilities from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a work-life balance. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine the needs of children eligible for early intervention services.
  • Develop and participate actively in Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring they reflect the childโ€™s developmental goals in collaboration with families and other team members.
  • Monitor and assess individual progress and outcomes, adapting strategies as necessary to promote effective learning and growth.
  • Provide targeted support and resources to families, equipping them with skills that enhance their child's development in a nurturing and responsive environment.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and adhere to Natural Learning Environment Principles in service delivery.
  • Develop rapport with children, families, and colleagues to foster collaborative relationships that enhance learning experiences.
  • Be compliant with all federal, state, and organizational guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of all served populations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on serving young children, typically ages birth to three years, who exhibit disabilities or developmental delays. The social worker will provide essential support to these children and their families, helping them navigate challenges and access necessary resources. By implementing individualized plans, the LCSW will promote developmental milestones across physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and communication domains, laying a strong foundation for future learning.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or Doctorate of Social Work (DSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois, as recognized by the Department of Public Health.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
