Job Description:
  • Provides support to the ISSM for maintaining the appropriate operational IA posture for a system, program, or enclave.
  • Assists in maintaining appropriate operational security posture for an information system or program.
  • Provides support to the Government on all matters (technical and otherwise) involving the security of the information system.
  • Assists with the management of security aspects of the information system and is assigned performs day-to-day security operations of the system.
  • Assists in the development of the system security policy and ensures compliance with that policy on a routine basis.
  • Develops and updates the system security plan, as well as managing and controlling changes to the system and assessing the security impact of those changes.
  • Provides support to plan, coordinate, and implement IT security programs and policies.
  • Provides configuration management for security-relevant information system software, hardware, and firmware.
Education & Experience:
  • B.S in a related field and 10 years of experience
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering may be substituted for four years of experience; substitution of work experience is at the discretion of the COR.
  • DoD 8570 compliance with Level III Information Assurance Technology.
