Job description

Synergy Orthopedic Specialists Medical Group is looking for a detail-orientated Medical Assistant.

Synergy Orthopedic Specialists Medical Group is one of the largest, most comprehensive medical groups in San Diego County, and is recognized for excellence in patient satisfaction and clinical care. For patient convenience and improved coordination of care, Synergy Orthopedic Specialists offers integrated care and services like orthopedics, radiology, physical therapy, and podiatry in San Diego.

  • Assist the providers with patients in exam rooms
  • Assist the providers with procedures
  • Stocking and cleaning the exam rooms
  • Scribe for the physician
  • Enter vitals, history, and other medical information in EMR
  • Provide patient care
  • X-Ray Services
  • Removal of sutures and/or stitches
  • Perform data entry
  • Obtain authorizations for surgeries
  • Scheduling appointments.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Orthopedic experience is recommended but not required.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is recommended.
  • 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience
  • current CPR/BLS card
  • basic computer skills are required.
