Job Description

Versant is seeking a strategic, highly organized leader to serve as Sr. Manager, Transformation Operations within the Enterprise Transformation Office. This role will help drive the planning, governance, coordination, change readiness, and execution discipline required to advance complex enterprise transformation initiatives.

Sitting at the intersection of strategy and execution, this leader will help translate enterprise priorities into integrated plans, decision-ready governance, cross-functional delivery rhythms, and the stakeholder alignment needed to support adoption. The role will partner across business, transformation, finance, and technology teams to ensure major initiatives are sequenced effectively, dependencies are actively managed, risks are surfaced early, leadership has the visibility needed to make timely decisions, and teams are prepared to absorb change successfully.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of program leadership, operational rigor, executive communication, cross-functional influence, and change orientation. This person will play a key role in helping Versant execute large-scale transformation efforts with clarity, discipline, accountability, and the organizational readiness needed for change to stick.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage integrated transformation plans across multiple workstreams, functions, and enterprise initiatives
  • Translate enterprise priorities into clear execution plans, milestone structures, governance rhythms, and decision points
  • Drive program governance, including status reviews, decision forums, executive materials, action tracking, and follow-through
  • Establish and maintain consistent PMO standards, operating cadences, and reporting across transformation efforts
  • Support sequencing decisions by helping leaders understand timing, dependencies, capacity constraints, and execution risk

Cross-Functional Execution & Change Readiness

  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams to ensure alignment across scope, timing, ownership, and delivery expectations
  • Identify and manage dependencies, risks, issues, and changes across initiatives, surfacing tradeoffs and escalation needs early
  • Partner with leaders and initiative owners to prepare teams for change and support readiness across major transformation efforts
  • Help drive stakeholder alignment, communications rhythms, and change-related follow-up needed to keep execution moving
  • Support the transition from planning into execution by helping teams convert strategic priorities into actionable work and adoption plans

Leadership Reporting, Accountability & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop executive-ready reporting, summaries, and materials that provide leadership with clear visibility into progress, risks, decisions, and next steps
  • Track execution progress against plans and help reinforce accountability for commitments and deliverables
  • Support leadership discussions around tradeoffs, prioritization, sequencing, and execution readiness
  • Translate complex cross-functional activity into concise, decision-useful insights for senior stakeholders
  • Continuously improve transformation processes, governance practices, and team coordination to support more effective enterprise execution over time
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Business, Operations, Strategy, Technology, Program Management, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in program management, transformation PMO, strategic operations, consulting, or related roles
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives at the enterprise level
  • Strong planning, dependency management, and risk management capabilities across multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Strong executive communication skills, including experience developing materials and updates for senior leaders
  • Ability to operate with both strategic perspective and strong execution discipline
  • Strong cross-functional leadership, stakeholder management, and influence skills
  • High degree of organization, ownership, and follow-through in fast-moving environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise transformation, operating model change, or large-scale business initiatives
