Job description

As an environmental professional with Sierra Piedmont, you’ll have the opportunity to take your career to the next level as a technical leader managing people, projects, and accounts. You’ll work closely with other technical and client facing personnel to execute the Superior Client Experience in our industry and make significant contributions to the success of the firm, and team, each and every day.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Project management (fully executing scope of work from self-generated proposals, ensuring field tasks meet state/federal regulations, adhering to cost and time budgets)
  • Hands-on field work with Property Condition Assessments, Phase I, Due Diligence, SWPPP, SPCC, and other environmental services
  • Report writing and quality control
  • Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
  • Client account development and relationship building
  • Mentoring junior project team members

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Engineering or Environmental Science with 5-12 years of experience, at least three of which servicing major clients.
  • Hands-on field work with Property Condition Assessments, Phase I, Due Diligence, SWPPP, SPCC, or other environmental services,
  • Strong business acumen in project planning and management,
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills,
  • Be able to show solid examples of contributing to a client execution team while exhibiting a high degree of self-direction, and
  • Business savvy and high energy.
