Universal Logistics is seeking a reliable Forklift/Switcher Operator to join our team at our Albany, MO facility. This role is essential in supporting yard operations and ensuring efficient movement of materials.

Shift & Pay:

  • 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday | 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM
  • 20$ an hour
  • 1st shift: Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Overtime available
  • Training conducted on 1st shift
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts and yard equipment safely and efficiently
  • Transport, unload, and properly store materials in the yard
  • Inspect and secure product prior to movement
  • Assist with inventory management and order placement
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Follow all company safety procedures and protocols
Requirements:
  • Experience operating forklifts (or willingness to learn)
  • Ability to operate or learn yard switcher equipment with flatbed trailers
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Experience with RF scanners/order picking is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
