Ingles Markets is looking for a Switcher for its transportation division located in Black Mountain, NC. As a Switcher, you will: Keep truck yards flowing by allocating trailers and inspecting equipment. Maintain contact with shipping/receiving departments. Move trailers to ensure product flows efficiently. Inspect trailers for mechanical problems, deadline trailers in need of repair, and ensure all equipment is properly registered and licensed. Assist in warehouse operations, as assigned. We work together to ensure a safe, clean, and productive work environment with equal opportunities for every associate. If you are looking for a position where you can learn, grow, and advance, then we are the company for you. Compensation Information: Pay starting at $22.50/hr. Multiple shifts - shift differential may apply. Start earning Paid Time Off day 1 (FT). Weekly pay with direct deposit. Opportunities for advancement.
Employment Requirements: Must be 21 years of age or older. Will conduct a Criminal Background Check. Must pass an E-Verify Screening. Experience Will train the right candidate. Previous switcher experience is a plus. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Must want to work and have excellent attendance. Exceptional work ethic and attention to detail are ideal.
