Position Summary

This position is responsible for monitoring and managing the warehouse management system (WMS) using WASS, Lotus Notes, and Microsoft Office tools. The role ensures efficient order flow, accurate shipment documentation, and effective communication between internal teams and external partners. Training will be provided on all systems and software used.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and release orders to the Material Handling team.
  • Continuously monitor WASS to ensure orders are processed and shipped accurately and in a timely.
  • Access COH and DOH to obtain the required shipping information.
  • Generate BOLs, SED, invoices, and packing lists for domestic and international shipments.
  • Access customer and third-party logistics portals to obtain shipping instructions.
  • Maintain communication via email, phone, and written correspondence with internal teams, customers, and logistics providers.
  • Monitor the shared shipping inbox and Lotus Notes Post Release module.
  • Support warehouse management with shipping functions as needed.
Customer / Stakeholder Engagement

Interact with SKF colleagues, freight forwarders, trucking companies, and customers.

Ensure timely communication and coordination of shipments.

Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual (Spanish) required
  • Experience: Warehouse or logistics experience
  • Technical Skills: Basic Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills; ability to learn company systems
  • Strong verbal, written, and email communication skills
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
