Responsibilities

As a Swiss Lathe Specialist, you will:

  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Swiss-style and/or mill-turn CNC machines.
  • Produce high-quality precision components while maintaining production efficiency.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
  • Ensure all parts meet quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of CNC machine operation experience.
  • Experience operating Swiss-style CNC machines and/or mill-turn equipment.
  • Familiarity with high-speed machining environments and mechanical measurement techniques.
  • Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a 12-hour shift.
