Job description

Job Summary

Responsible for membership sales, membership account management, membership software management, front desk coverage, child care staffing, facility tours, membership inquiries, answering phones and providing customer service support to members and guests. Responsible for point of sale on services and products. Responsible for appointment scheduling, announcements, and presentations. Orders departmental supplies and is responsible for shop sales.

Essential Functions

  • All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.

  • Provides excellent customer service, greets members by name, answers questions and phone call and directs members or guests to appropriate answer or area that can assist with finding the answer. Coordinates entire membership sales process including new or prospective members (tours, data entry, physician clearances) membership paperwork. Responds to member comments and concerns and addresses any missing information during the membership application process.

  • Covers front desk and childcare area as needed. Responsible for back up to business office representative responsibilities as needed.

  • Provides tours and receives intake information while assisting in a positive first experience with the front desk to help secure a new or renewing membership. Presents at health fairs and New Hire Orientation to sell memberships.

  • Ensures all members and guests swipe their cards to count visits. Address errors with the member or guest account. Encourage members to attend specialty classes or other services offered at the wellness center. Documents all wellness guest visits for future follow-up. Assists in the implementation of various sales/retention efforts to ensure that program goals are achieved.

  • Ensures each experience at the front desk, childcare area and business office are to be positive and supportive for the members. Asks questions when programs or services are unclear. Responsible for follow-up including guest and tour cards, phone calls, letters and membership cancellations. Orders and manages inventory of items for the shop. Manages revenue and expenses of the shop based on the fiscal year budget. Responsible for marketing and sales of the shop items.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.
