What You'll Do


The Service Manager (Maintenance) is responsible for performing and overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations of the assigned property to ensure that the overall physical aspects of the property meet the Company's established standards and any applicable laws. 


Your day-to-day may include:

  • Schedule, monitor, and/or perform preventative maintenance at assigned property
  • Coordinate the day-to-day maintenance operations of the property
  • Direct and supervise daily activities of the maintenance team, such as planning and preparing work schedules, assigning tasks, delegating work, monitoring progress and workflow, reviewing work for timeliness and accuracy, and appraising work performance
  • Train and coach all maintenance team members
  • Participate in diagnosing problems, completing repairs, and general maintenance for the property, which include areas such as HVAC, general electrical, plumbing, swimming pool (if applicable), carpentry, dry wall, exterior structure, and appliances.
  • Perform property inspections on a daily basis and maintain cleanliness of the property in partnership with your team.
  • Manage vendor/contractor relationship including obtaining and completing quality control.
  • Complete property unit turns, painting, drywall, normal wear and tear items.
  • Respond to after hours on-call emergencies on a rotation basis.
  • Train and coach all maintenance team members


Requirements

What You Bring

  • Comprehension of federal fair housing laws and any applicable local housing provisions
  • Ability to comprehend and work within budgetary guidelines
  • Knowledge of general property repairs, which may include, as applicable, the areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural, and appliances

The expected compensation range for this position is $31.00- $33.00, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
