POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to handle a wide range of maintenance responsibilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, painting, preventative maintenance, event setups, and light cleaning duties.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Assists Facilities Manager with tasks.

Conduct regular inspections and perform preventive maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool and other related equipment.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and administration while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Repair and maintain common area facilities and equipment, including HVAC, painting, drywall, electrical, and plumbing, pool.

Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Facilities Manager and maintenance team regarding issues, updates, and solutions.

Inspect and maintain safety systems, to ensure compliance and resident safety.

Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and safe.

Assist with event set up and breakdown as needed, including cleaning.

Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs when necessary.

Assists Facilities Manager with preparation of reports regarding the operation of the Facilities Department.

Maintains and ensures that chemical & filtration systems for swimming pool and spa are kept in accordance with current health & state requirements.
