We continue to grow and are seeking a solution-oriented and customer-focused Equipment Repair Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for diagnosing issues with the swimming pool equipment and providing solutions to each and every customer they are assigned. This includes following our proven process for diagnosing issues, successfully communicating alternative solutions to the customer, completing the solution in an efficient manner and following all established protocols and sharing lessons learned with the rest of our team.
The ideal person for this position will love to work outdoors. They will be a self- starter who has the ability to work independently with minimal oversight and guidance. They will handle all matters with integrity and embrace the concept and requirements of delivering "resort-quality service".
About the Role:
We're looking for a Pool Service Technician who enjoys solving problems and diagnosing issues rather than simply following a checklist. This role requires strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify the root cause of equipment, water quality, and system performance problems.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, curious, and takes pride in figuring out why something isn't working and how to fix it efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Success in this position will be determined by the following measurable results:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot pool equipment issues, including pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, salt systems, and plumbing components
  • Inspect pool systems and identify potential failures before they become major issues
  • Perform repairs and recommend corrective actions based on findings
  • Document observations, diagnoses, and completed work
  • Communicate technical information clearly to customers and team members
  • Prioritize service calls and develop effective solutions in the field
  • Maintain high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service
  • Renovation experience - preferred, not required

Qualifications:
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical systems
  • Ability to think independently and make sound decisions in the field
  • Experience with pool equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, automotive repair, maintenance, or a related trade is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks as required
