Job description

Your position with the Company is that of a Mechanic’s Helper.  In your role with the organization you are responsible to assist the mechanic with the opening up/summarization of the swimming pool and spa, and all other work as assigned.  The mechanic with whom you are working is your immediate supervisor.  The following is a list of performance guidelines, expectations, job responsibilities and duties 
Job duties and responsibilities are generally described below.  
·         Load the service truck as directed 
·         Prepare the swimming pool cover for removal.  Remove the cover.
·         Drain, clean, roll-up, and store the water bags.  Replace the “pop-ups” for the cover.
·         Clean, sanitize and fold/roll the cover for storage.  Place the cover in the designated storage area.
·         Remove the pool equipment from storage for use in the set-up.
-          Diving board
-          Skimmer baskets, directional fittings, drain covers
-          Cleaning equipment
-          Chemicals needed for start-up
-          Other items as identified by the mechanic
·         Skim debris from the water, vacuum the swimming pool and scrub the tiles
·         Clean the deck area
·         Police the deck area for tools and equipment.  Return all tools/equipment to the service truck.
·         Fill the chemical order as directed by the mechanic.
·         Unload the truck of all of the debris and trash from the days service.
·         Any other duties as assigned by the mechanic or management of the company.
