Job description

REPORTS TO:

General Manager.

EXPERIENCE:

General knowledge of maintenance and related work experience.DRESS CODE:

Maintenance uniform including name tag.

PHYSICAL:

Requires the ability to lift 80 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to drive a vehicle and have good communication skills. Must be able to help out in an emergency situation.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Preventive Maintenance of all guest rooms, equipment, and supplies. This includes, but is not limited to:
    1. HVAC and PTAC
    2. Vacuums
    3. Ice Machines
    4. TV's
    5. Washers and dryers
    6. Water heaters
    7. Sprinkler Systems
    8. Swimming Pool
    9. Case goods and cabinets
  2. Maintain the swimming pool and whirlpool according to standards set by local health departments and the franchise.
  3. Perform all specific repairs unless a general contractor is needed and approved by management.
  4. Provide assistance to all other departments as needed.
  5. Be on call at all times in case of emergency.
  6. Must be able to operate basic maintenance tools.
  7. Must be able to read and follow instructions.
  8. Must be able to run errands for hotel.
  9. Must adhere to strict key control policies
  10. Must keep accurate records of all preventative maitnenace.
  11. Perform outdoor lawn and snow services as needed.
  12. Shift times may vary.
