Job description

The Construction Foreman plays a critical role in overseeing small teams of 5-10 workers on commercial pool construction projects. This is a hands-on position that requires daily field performance. There is frequent travel to/between sites and involves direct reporting to the Project Manager and Senior Management. The foreman ensures proper means and methods, project timelines, safety standards, and quality expectations are met, while also fostering team leadership and efficient project execution on site. There is a potential pathway for advancement to a Project Manager role.

Responsibilities

  • Perform, supervise and coordinate daily activities of a small construction team (5-10 workers)
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and OSHA standards on all sites
  • Oversee commercial swimming pool construction projects, maintaining quality and schedule
  • Communicate progress and issues to Project Manager and Senior Management
  • Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans accurately
  • Manage equipment operation and time allocation efficiently
  • Resolve on-site problems and provide effective solutions
  • Travel frequently to various job sites as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in construction management
