What skills and qualifications are needed to be a swim instructor?

To thrive as a Swim Instructor, you need strong swimming proficiency, knowledge of water safety, and often certifications such as American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) or equivalent. Exceptional communication, patience, and motivational skills help build trust and encourage learners of all ages.
