You will work onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Arlington, Virginia, where a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere fosters ongoing learning and team support. • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical abilities and limitations, setting personalized treatment goals and creating comprehensive treatment plans in accordance with physician referrals.
• Administer therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercises, and modalities, ensuring techniques are tailored to patients’ specific needs and functional levels.
• Maintain meticulous patient records, documenting evaluations, treatments, and outcomes while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Monitor and assess patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and achieve set objectives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and implement comprehensive care strategies.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and support staff, guiding their contributions to patient management and ensuring effective delivery of care.
• Engage in continuous professional development through attending workshops, seminars, and training sessions to stay current with industry trends and practices.
• Participate in departmental meetings to contribute insights and suggestions for enhancing operational efficiency and patient outcomes.

As a Physical Therapist at Swift Peace, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. Our diverse clientele ranges from athletes to elderly individuals seeking to regain mobility and independence. Your role will involve a personalized approach to care, ensuring that interventions are appropriate for each patient's specific situation and demographic considerations.

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively.
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health records systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

• A minimum of one year of experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, particularly in outpatient rehabilitation environments.
• Experience working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
• Knowledge of specialized therapeutic techniques relevant to patient populations served at Swift Peace.
