The work setting is an onsite rehabilitation facility located in the heart of Stafford, Virginia. The clinic is equipped with modern therapy equipment and tools to support effective recovery plans tailored to each patient's needs. As a Physical Therapist, you will work closely with a variety of healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care.

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Evaluate patients through detailed assessments regarding their physical conditions, functional limitations, and potential for improvement.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that align with physician directives and patient goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and required records to track progress and support billing processes.
• Supervise the activities of Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and support personnel, ensuring alignment with treatment goals and patient care standards.
• Conduct regular follow-up assessments to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Engage in effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members to facilitate optimal outcomes.
• Provide constructive feedback to the Director and participate in departmental initiatives to enhance productivity and patient care quality.

The ideal candidate for this position must have:

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software for documentation and patient tracking.

While one year of experience in a physical therapy setting is required, candidates with more extensive experience or special certifications in specific therapeutic areas, such as ortho or neuro rehabilitation, will be prioritized. Familiarity with contemporary therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices will be viewed favorably.
