We are seeking compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our dynamic and growing outpatient psychiatric office located in Orange, California. This position allows mental health counselors to work remotely while being affiliated with our outpatient office based in Orange, California. • Conduct detailed mental health assessments to identify patients' specific needs and create tailored treatment plans that encompass therapy goals and actions.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to promote healing and progress in individual, couples, and family sessions.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups focused on prevalent mental health issues, helping to foster community among participants and normalize their experiences.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring that patients receive the most suitable supports and interventions.
• Provide crisis intervention services during emergencies, utilizing swift assessment skills to stabilize clients and mobilize additional resources as required.
• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and local community resources to empower their involvement in the recovery process.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring that all documentation reflects the quality of care provided and adheres to organizational policies.
• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops to foster continuous learning and improvement within the practice.
• Stay informed about the latest developments and research in mental health therapy, integrating new strategies into practice as appropriate.

Our practice serves a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, each presenting unique challenges and needs. Our therapists play a critical role in addressing the complex emotional, behavioral, and psychological barriers faced by our patients, ensuring sensitive, inclusive, and culturally competent care.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist in the state of California.
• Thorough knowledge of various mental health disorders and a strong foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting mental health assessments and formulating effective therapeutic plans.
• Proven abilities to provide individual and group therapy to diverse populations with varying needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on interpersonal effectiveness.
• Strong ethical framework and commitment to adhering to professional boundaries.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in managing digital documentation.
• A collaborative spirit and willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• At least three years of clinical experience providing direct mental health services in an outpatient or related setting.
• Experience working with children and families is highly desirable, given our focus on serving this demographic.
• Participation in continuing education and training in innovative therapeutic techniques or specializations.
