Swift Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in Fort Myers, Florida. Located in beautiful Fort Myers, Florida, our center offers a welcoming onsite environment. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technology and versatile treatment areas that promote active recovery. You will work Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care. As a Physical Therapist at Swift Therapy Center, you will have a diverse set of responsibilities that include:

• Consulting with fellow healthcare professionals to evaluate and adapt treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Conducting thorough evaluations, including comprehensive history reviews and specialized assessments, to inform treatment decisions.
• Implementing evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to individual patient presentations and ongoing health care developments.
• Documenting patient care activities meticulously, including initial evaluations, daily progress notes, interim assessments, and discharge plans to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engaging in discharge planning and providing follow-up care recommendations to facilitate seamless transitions for patients.
• Staying updated on necessary corporate and clinical training, while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Exhibiting professional communication with patients, families, and third-party payors to maintain transparency and ensure optimal patient care.
• Actively participating in team meetings and contributing insights to enhance our collaborative care model.

Our facility serves a diverse range of orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida is essential.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of professional experience in a clinical setting, particularly focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation. Proficiency in a variety of treatment methodologies and a commitment to ongoing education in the field will be highly regarded.
