Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is a small business within the Minneapolis St. Paul Airport. We are building a fun, creative, customer-centric team. We are hiring friendly reliable Retail Associates with previous customer service experience, preferably within a retail setting. In addition to engaging with customers, you will ensure customer sales transactions run smoothly while maximizing customer satisfaction. This role is expected to be available to work the following shifts: days, evenings and or weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Provide best in class customer service to traveler’s and airport employees entering store.
  • Manage customer transactions using cash registers.
  • Scan goods and ensure accurate pricing.
  • Collect cash or credit payments.
  • Cross-sell and introduce new products.
  • Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information.
  • Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
  • Bag, box or gift-wrap packages.
  • Keep up with trends in the chocolate industry.

Your background ideally includes:

  • Exemplary customer service.
  • Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role.
  • Basic PC knowledge.
  • Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • High school degree

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake a variety of chocolates and other confections.
