Full-Time Espresso-Candy Manager - LEVITTOWN, NY!

Do you have a sweet tooth and a passion for coffee? Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace is looking for aFull-Time Espresso-Candy Manager for our newest gourmet store located in Levittown,NY! Lead our combined Candy & Espresso Bar, manage a dynamic team, and create a delightful experience for every customer.

Your Role:

  • Manage all operations of the Candy-Espresso Department, including staffing, scheduling, inventory, merchandising, and customer service

  • Hire, train, and coach department staff to maintain high standards

  • Ensure candy and drink orders are filled promptly and accurately

  • Oversee equipment functionality and address issues immediately

  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and food handling standards

  • Evaluate department processes and suggest improvements to enhance service and menu options

  • Assist customers with drink and candy selections and provide a friendly, knowledgeable experience

  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a candy store or coffee house as a Lead Clerk or Assistant Manager

  • Proven experience managing staff, including hiring, scheduling, and training

  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills

  • Knowledge of inventory, storage, shelf life, safety standards, and proper food handling

  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members

Working Conditions:

  • Active role requiring frequent movement, bending, reaching, and lifting (up to 30 lbs; heavier items with assistance)
