Pediatric Gastroenterologist – Swedish, Seattle, WA

Swedish Pediatric Specialty Care is looking to add a full-time, board‑certified/board‑eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist to their thriving practice. The multispecialty clinic coordinates care with pediatric surgery, pulmonology, ENT, nephrology, orthopedics, urology, sports medicine, and infectious disease. The outpatient services include general pediatric GI consultation, a growth and nutrition clinic, an aerodigestive program, and a new metabolic syndrome program. The team treats inflammatory bowel disease both medically and surgically and has a platform to transition IBD patients to adult GI. Work in a clinic with access to a state‑of‑the‑art endoscopy centre and enjoy a healthy work‑life balance in the cultural hub of Seattle, Washington.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • 1.0 FTE
  • Pediatric sedation service staffed by pediatric intensivists for low‑risk procedures
  • GI staff volunteers regularly with the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation and participates as camp doctors at Camp Oasis yearly
  • Participate in clinical research projects for both inflammatory bowel disease and eosinophilic esophagitis
  • Ideal candidate will have well‑developed clinical skills and be looking to help grow or develop new services for the community
  • Interest in hepatology and motility is a plus
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
  • Compensation is between $249,658 and $353,821 per year
  • The compensation amounts may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, and CME benefits may be available
