Job description

Master Data Management Solution Engineer
We are now hiring a Master Data Management (MDM) Solution Engineer to join this new global team.
The MDM Solution Engineer will play a key part in establishing Mölnlycke's new MDM capability. This role is responsible for delivering, configuring, and continuously improving our Master Data Management solutions-primarily using Profisee and Snowflake-to ensure high-quality, governed, and scalable master data across the enterprise.
This is a hands-on, technical role supporting global stakeholders, with a strong focus on the U.S. commercial organization (our largest market). You will collaborate daily with team members in Sweden and the U.S., data engineers, architects, and business data owners. You will report directly to the MDM Team Manager / SDL Analytics Platform.
Key Responsibilities
• Configure and enhance MDM solutions using Profisee, Snowflake, and related platforms.
• Execute data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) for master data domains (Customer, Product, Vendor, etc.).
• Build and maintain golden records, survivorship rules, hierarchies, metadata, and data quality controls.
• Translate business policies into automated data quality rules, scorecards, and stewardship workflows.
• Specify and validate integration requirements and data contracts between MDM and downstream systems.
• Contribute to Agile delivery (Jira), including stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint commitments.
• Create documentation, rule catalogs, runbooks, and governance materials.
• Train and support business data stewards; provide demos and knowledge-sharing.
• Partner closely with global and U.S. commercial stakeholders to ensure effective and timely support.
Compensation & Benefits:
Offers of employment consider various factors, including experience, education, location, and role-specific requirements.
Our comprehensive benefits package is designed to support your health, financial well-being, and work-life harmony.
• Medical, dental and vision plans are available from your first day of employment and provide extensive coverage through multiple options so you can find the right fit for you and your family.
• Financial benefits include a robust 401(k) plan with company match, profit sharing, tuition reimbursement, life insurance and both flexible spending accounts and health savings accounts.
• Molnlycke offers generous paid time off, paid parental leave, an Employee Assistance Program and lifestyle perks like discounted access to entertainment and travel.
What You Bring
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5+ years of hands-on MDM experience, including match/merge, survivorship, data quality, and stewardship workflows.
• Practical delivery experience in Profisee strongly preferred; experience with other MDM tools (SAP MDG, Informatica, Semarchy, Reltio, etc.) also valuable.
• Strong conceptual/logical/physical data modeling capability.
• Understanding of Snowflake schemas, keys, integration patterns, and data contracts (coding experience not required).
• Experience working in Agile environments and with DevOps practices (Git/Azure DevOps).
• Ability to see the "big picture" - not only technical depth, but how MDM fits into overall enterprise data flows, business priorities, and downstream impacts.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working in a global team.
Work Environment & Schedule
• Hybrid (3 days/week onsite) in our Atlanta office (typically Tue/Wed/Thu).
• This is a global role, so availability for collaboration starting around 7:00-8:00 AM EST is important to overlap with EMEA teams.
• Occasional travel may be required.
Our approach to diversity and inclusion
At Molnlycke, diversity is not just a vision, but our strength. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace that values and celebrates the power of diversity. At the heart of our commitment is the belief that diversity fuels innovation, creativity, and problem-solving. We invite you to be a part of a team where authenticity is embraced and every employee, regardless of background or any other traits, experiences a true sense of belonging. Your attitude, drive, enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn are just as important to us as the requirements for the role.
