Description
Essential Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspection and maintenance of SWD facilities and water gathering systems.
  • Maintain natural gas and electric-driven pumps, including preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Inspect pipelines, valves, pump stations, and rights-of-way for leaks, damage, and operational integrity.
  • Conduct routine testing of safety shutdowns, motors, valves, and control systems.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with construction, operations, and field personnel.
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Order materials and coordinate contractor work as needed.
  • Assist with cost estimates and work planning.
  • Ensure compliance with company, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations.
  • Respond to operational issues, spills, and emergency situations as required.
  • Participate in safety meetings and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
  • Support additional field operations as assigned.

Requirements
Qualifications
  • Experience with SWD operations, water transfer systems, or pipeline maintenance.
  • Knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, piping systems, and rotating equipment.
  • Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on field equipment.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and safe work practices.
  • Working knowledge of pipeline rights-of-way and gathering systems.
  • Experience working independently in an outdoor oil & gas environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift equipment and work in varying weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience operating or maintaining SWD facilities.
  • Knowledge of Texas 811 / One Call procedures.
  • QI certification or ability to obtain certification for:
    • Hot Work
    • Ground Disturbance
    • Critical Lifts
  • Experience with SCADA systems is a plus.
  • Mechanical maintenance experience on natural gas or electric pumps.
