Job description

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a high-producing Senior Vice President Treasury Management Officer based in the Dallas/Fort Worth market. This individual will be responsible for generating significant new deposit relationships while partnering closely with commercial lenders to identify and capture additional deposit opportunities within lending relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of personally generating $5 million–$10 million in new deposits per quarter, or approximately $20 million–$40 million annually, through both direct treasury management business development and collaboration with commercial banking teams.

This is a highly relationship-driven, production-focused opportunity for a Treasury Management professional who knows how to win new business and bring meaningful deposits into a bank.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and independently generate new deposit relationships throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth market.
  • Consistently generate approximately $5 million–$10 million in new deposits per quarter, with an annual target of approximately $20 million–$40 million.
  • Partner with commercial lenders during prospect calls, loan presentations, and relationship-development meetings to identify and capture treasury management and deposit opportunities.
  • Leverage commercial lending relationships to deepen the overall banking relationship and increase core deposits.
  • Independently prospect for new commercial deposit opportunities outside of lending-generated referrals.
  • Develop and execute calling strategies designed to attract new operating accounts and significant commercial balances.
  • Analyze client cash-flow needs and recommend customized treasury management solutions.
  • Provide expertise on ACH, wire transfers, positive pay, remote deposit capture, fraud prevention, account analysis, online banking, payables, receivables, liquidity management, and cash concentration.
  • Lead treasury management presentations and proposals for prospective and existing clients.
  • Work closely with commercial lenders and relationship managers to win new relationships and expand existing relationships.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of commercial businesses and referral sources throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth market.
  • Monitor deposit activity and identify opportunities to increase balances, wallet share, and fee income.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide an exceptional level of ongoing service.
  • Serve as a senior-level treasury management resource and market representative for the bank.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of treasury management, commercial banking, deposit sales, cash management, or related experience.
  • Demonstrated and verifiable track record of personally generating significant commercial deposits.
  • Proven ability to consistently bring in $5 million–$10 million in deposits per quarter or approximately $20 million–$40 million annually.
  • Strong existing commercial network throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth market.
  • Experience independently sourcing and closing new commercial deposit relationships.
  • Experience partnering with commercial lenders and participating in commercial lending calls and prospect meetings.
  • Strong understanding of commercial treasury management products and cash-flow solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities beyond the initial banking need and expand total relationship value.
  • Strong business development, networking, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
