Job description

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Group Delivery Lead to join our AI Hub team. This role is located in New York, NY or Pittsburgh, PA.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:ย 

  • Lead the planning and execution of enterprise AI/ML initiatives, driving complex, cross-functional programs from strategy through delivery while aligning resources, priorities, and execution plans to achieve business objectives and accelerate BNY's AI transformation.
  • Develop and manage integrated delivery roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, risks, and success measures.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across engineering and product to drive alignment, prioritization, governance, and decision-making across initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain delivery standards, controls, reporting, and risk management practices to support effective execution.
  • Serve as a delivery subject matter expert, providing guidance, coaching, and leadership across teams and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights, innovation, and adoption of enhanced delivery methodologies and tools.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:ย 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. Advanced degree and/or relevant professional certification in project, program, or portfolio management (e.g., PMP, SAFe, Agile/Scrum) preferred.
  • Typically, 8-12 years of experience.
  • Extensive experience leading complex, cross-functional programs and strategic delivery initiatives, ideally within AI/ML, data, technology, digital, or transformation-focused organizations.
  • Advanced program/project management and risk management expertise within regulated or highly controlled environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, including experience partnering with senior executives.
  • Proven ability to drive AI/ML and technology transformation initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Demonstrated success driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, and delivery innovation.
