Job Description

As a Vice President, Creative Director (Copy), here's what we expect from you: You are confident and capable of juggling several balls on a regular basis. You are the mentor, manager and motivator of a creative group. You effectively win pitches and gain client confidence as a leader who can be relied upon to manage large-scale, cross channel deliverables.  Above all else, you and your team understand that achieving results in improving the creative product is the most important measure of success for Saatchi & Saatchi Health. You continually review and optimize results for every piece of creative work your team produces.  This role as a Vice President, Creative Director at Saatchi & Saatchi Health requires experience that includes a copywriting background. You should have at least ten or more years of experience in an advertising or interactive agency, leading the creative for digital, social, print and interactive campaign work.  Large, integrated cross channel campaigns and promotional experience are a must. You must also have solid management experience and come in ready to lead and develop a seasoned creative team.

  • Champion creative quality
  • Champion a new future of digital experiences for our client and very importantly, the agency
  • Inspire and sell trend-setting, next level, pioneering creative work
  • Reports to SVP, Creative Director or department leadership equivalent
  • Lead, teach, mentor members of the creative department
  • Manage client relationships
  • Lead new business efforts
  • Stay current on industry trends and creative trends
  • Ensure creative is executed within agreed strategy, deadlines, and budget
  • Lead client meetings for presenting creative concepts
Qualifications
  • Copywriting background with strong, award-winning portfolio that showcases memorable creative across media with emphasis on digital experiences
  • 10+ years at agency environments, inclusive of pharmaceutical and/or health & wellness focused shops
  • DTC and HCP campaign experience with strong level of comfort in and affinity for HCP-focused work
  • Experience managing large creative teams
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Guiding the development of our future creative stars that will be reporting to you
  • Demonstrate digital creative success on wide range of client and personal work
  • No ego. Collaborates easily and often. Displays good judgement, maturity, and enthusiasm
  • Flexible and adaptive to meet changing needs or direction
  • Experience and Brand Strategy
  • Proven experience writing medical marketing for both HCP and Consumer across wide-range of media and tactics
  • Intense attention to detail and ensuring copy accuracy and adherence to label

 Compensation Range: USD $129,485.00 - USD $207,324.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
