Hampton Roads is home to the Virginia Symphony, Virginia Opera, and major arts festivals. The Suzuki community provides a biannual workshop along with community performance events and touring opportunities. As such, there are many local opportunities for both teaching and performing. Additional teaching opportunities may include parent education workshops, early childhood (through our Prezuki program), and summer camps. Teachers are compensated for faculty planning meetings and any additional administrative work.

Qualifications: Applicants should hold a bachelorโ€™s degree (or comparable) in music, and SAA registration through Violin Unit 2 with an expectation of continuing Suzuki teacher training.
