Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients referred by physicians, developing tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques to enhance patients' recovery, ensuring alignment with the physician's plan of care.
- Provide skilful and compassionate care, focusing on patient education and engagement to foster independence.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to track patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary, maximizing outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment results in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Promote a patient-first culture by delivering excellent customer service and contributing positively to the clinic's effectiveness.
As a Full-Time Physical Therapist at Sutter Care, you will work with a diverse population that includes orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. You will apply your specialized skills to help individuals regain functionality and improve their quality of life. Your commitment to understanding and overcoming each patient's unique challenges will foster authentic connections and effective rehabilitation experiences.
Qualifications- A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from a program accredited by the APTA or CAPTE.
- A valid state license in Physical Therapy.
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
- Proficient in using word processing software and electronic health record systems.
- A passion for building meaningful relationships with patients and the community.
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, demonstrating a solid understanding of therapeutic interventions and patient management.
- Experience working within a rehabilitation facility setting is a strong advantage.
