SCAH-Sutter Care at Home - Bay

Position Overview:

**$10,000 sign-on bonus available to external candidates - in accordance with Sutter Health policy + excellent benefits!**
The Speech Therapist develops and implements a plan for providing rehabilitation home therapeutic treatment as well as education of patients, family members and significant others to home health and hospice patients. This position also coordinates with other home health staff to provide an efficient integration of care.

Job Description:

EDUCATION

  • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
  • Master's in speech pathology from an educational institution accredited by the Education and Training Board of American Speech Language Hearing Association


CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

  • ST-Speech Therapy for the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance
  • DL-Valid Drivers License Class C or B
  • AUTO-Automobile Insurance
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider


TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 years recent relevant experience


SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Possesses the ability to organize, use time efficiently, and communicate well

  • Demonstrates clinical assessment skills in area of expertise

  • Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills

Pay Range is $53.75 to $72.19 / hour

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health's comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
