Operations and Business Line Integration

  • Maintain operational responsibility and oversight across assigned senior care clinic locations, ensuring harmonious relationships among departments, foundations, medical groups, hospital entities, and PACE centers with a focus on the integration of acute, ambulatory, and home-based care.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally (medical, compliance, HR, finance, IT, analytics, operations) to integrate and operationalize VBC priorities, driving alignment with Sutter Health system-wide initiatives.

  • Lead performance management, monitoring key indicators for clinical quality, patient and physician experience, patient access, and utilization, using data-driven dashboards to track progress across the service line.

  • Standardize clinic policies, protocols, administrative agreements, and digital enablement to promote efficiency and high-quality senior care.

Value-Based Care Advancement

  • Develop and oversee clinical pathways, care management models, and digital health innovation initiatives aligned with VBC principles.

  • Implement operational processes and best practices to improve patient outcomes, lower unnecessary utilization, and prepare for value-based payment and risk contracting.

  • Prepare and execute supply chain, vendor negotiation, and resource allocation plans to standardize clinic products, maximize cost savings, and enable technology adoption.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Build and motivate high-performing clinic teams, promoting physician and staff engagement, leadership development, and retention.

  • Serve as a senior administrative representative to committees, boards, and external bodies; communicate system, market, and clinical objectives to all key stakeholders.

  • Facilitate problem-solving, consensus-building, and conflict resolution across the clinics and system.
