The Sustainability Analyst supports Crescent Energy's sustainability strategy, ESG reporting, emissions management, and regulatory compliance initiatives across the company's operational footprint. This role manages sustainability reporting processes, environmental and HSE performance data, and cross-functional ESG projects while supporting evolving regulatory and industry reporting requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead Crescent's OGMP 2.0 implementation and reporting efforts, including emissions data gathering, project management, implementation planning, and annual report submissions.

  • Coordinate development of the annual Sustainability Report from drafting and messaging to final review process.

  • Support development and updates to HSE and sustainability targets, policies, procedures, and management systems.

  • Monitor evolving sustainability regulations and disclosure requirements, including Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions reporting.

  • Conduct internal and peer benchmarking analyses to support sustainability strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Support greenhouse gas emissions management, reporting verification, and assurance processes.

  • Develop presentations, reports, and materials for leadership, investors, regulatory agencies, and external stakeholders.

  • Maintain working knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks and industry standards, including OGMP 2.0, SASB, TCFD & GRI.

Required Experience & Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, emissions management, environmental compliance within the energy industry.

  • Knowledge of greenhouse gas accounting methodologies and Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions reporting.

  • Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and disclosure programs, including OGMP 2.0, SASB, TCFD & GRI.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with ESG rating agencies, sustainability data management systems, and assurance processes.

  • Knowledge of evolving climate disclosure regulations and sustainability reporting requirements
